Personality:
Shon is nearly a typical run-of-the-day villager. He likes long walks on the nighttime streets, as long as the walks are generally in the direction of the local pub(s), where he likes to relax with a pint and some conversation. He's a pretty laid-back individual, however he is prone to panicking when his life is threatened, as any sensible self-preserving human would. He can be loud and rambunctious when it comes to it, and doesn't mind a good, clean party. He's a kind soul, and will help those in need, but if you wrong him then you can expect an enemy for life. He is not one to forgive easily.

History:
Shon began his life in an apothecary's shack in Alrusa, since his family didn't trust the doctors in their hometown of Leed. He showed to be physically tough even at that age, his voice professing to the strength of his lungs. Skip forward a few years, and he lived a rather "happy" life as a child. The son of a commoner, cast into the role of a smith's son. There were always rumours that they were sons of the High King Lodràk Nèkull of the Kingdom Nirva (once a name for Nessic), thus the surname "Lodràkës". He grew up hearing and disbelieving stories of ancestry and stolen lineage.

He learned, naturally, the trade of smithing as was his "duty" as a blacksmith's son, but he never found his passion in such an art. He can craft well enough, but despite never being able to become a scholar he enjoyed books to hammers. Soon he learned more than his caste in life would really allow him to utilize his knowledge. Out of curiosity, he learned of magics and enchantment. The books were there, and since he had no affinity for the art nobody suspected him of anything. There was a time, though, when he thought to merge the two together. Using old rituals and constraints, Shon attempted to fold natural magic energy into a blade. The result was... explosive. He'd since sworn off the kind of danger that any kind of magic attracted.

These days, Shon mixes his literary hobbies with his blacksmithing profession, making and repairing arms and armour for the people of the town -- usually just the guard. He sometimes considers adventure, but there's no attraction to it for him, no reason to risk his life to go hunting glory or some foolishness like that. He lives his life as a commoner, and that's well enough for him.
